Terms of use
Terms for finding and reporting EV charging stations.
These terms cover how you use BlueEV, what station information means, and where provider responsibilities begin. If anything below feels unclear, send us a note.

Using BlueEV
BlueEV helps drivers find and compare EV charging stations from supported providers. You can use the app to view station locations, connector details, provider details, availability and pricing when available, directions, photos, and station reports.
We ask that you use BlueEV responsibly. Do not misuse the app or API, submit false or harmful reports, scrape the service at unreasonable volume, or try to disrupt BlueEV for other drivers.
Provider services
BlueEV is a station discovery and reporting app. Unless we state otherwise for a specific station, charging hardware, parking access, pricing, payments, charging sessions, refunds, receipts, and provider apps are controlled by the station operator or charging provider. Their terms and policies apply when you use their services.
Station data and directions
We work to keep station data useful, but charging information can change quickly. Availability, power, connector labels, access rules, pricing, and route details may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong.
Before relying on a charger, confirm the station on site or with the provider when the trip depends on it. Do not rely on BlueEV alone for emergency, safety-critical, legal, or financial decisions.
Reports and feedback
If you send station reports, feedback, photos, screenshots, or support notes, you give us permission to store, review, and use that material to operate BlueEV, fix station data, respond to support requests, and improve the app.
You are responsible for what you submit. Please do not send content you do not have the right to share, private information about other people, or anything misleading.
Your data
BlueEV handles app, device, directions, report, feedback, and support data as described in our privacy policy.
- You can use the app without adding an email address to feedback or station reports.
- If you do include an email address, we use it to follow up about the message you sent.
- You can ask us to delete or de-identify support and report data associated with your email or device where we can reasonably identify it.
What we don't promise
BlueEV is provided as-is. We cannot guarantee that the app, API, station data, provider data, route results, reports, images, or servers will always be available, error-free, current, or perfectly accurate.
Limits of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to BlueEV is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the past twelve months and one hundred dollars. We aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Changes
We might update these terms when the app changes. If we make a material change, we'll let you know inside the app before it takes effect.
Ending the relationship
You can stop using BlueEV at any time by removing the app. We can block or rate-limit access that abuses the service, attacks the API, or creates risk for other drivers.
